That’s where Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) comes in. For me, it’s not just a fancy set of techniques—it’s a life-changer. It’s about learning how to hit the reset button on your mind and choosing how you want to feel, act, and respond. Sounds like magic, right? But it’s science, and it’s very doable.



So, What’s a State of Mind Anyway?

It’s basically the vibe your brain and body are giving off at any moment. Think of it as your inner weather report.

  • Sunny and confident? You’re nailing that presentation.

  • Cloudy with a chance of self-doubt? Even sending an email feels like climbing Mount Everest.

Our states of mind are powerful—they shape how we see the world and how the world sees us. And here’s the kicker: most of us just let these states happen to us instead of taking charge of them.

I’ll be honest—there was a time when I felt like my emotions were running the show. But with NLP, I learned how to take back the reins.

  • I started recognizing patterns: Why did I feel anxious every time I walked into a meeting? What was my mind trying to protect me from? (Spoiler: it wasn’t helping.)

  • I created anchors: Imagine being able to feel confident just by tapping your wrist or recalling a memory. Sounds wild, but it works.

  • I reframed my challenges: Instead of freaking out over mistakes, I started asking myself, “What’s this teaching me?” That simple shift changed everything.
